The bills - the gift that keeps on giving i.e. credit card interest. Oh, and don't forget that in July they'll raise the rate to 21% from that low rate you started with.
The Christmas lights for the house - I have 23 and 13 yr old (very big for his age) sons living with me and neither one lifted a finger to put them up. By the way the 23 yr old is unemployed and has been for years. Therefore, I refuse to do it. I just can't get motivated for some reason.
The tree - We always get a real one because we love the smell of the pine. It's a nice looking tree but at $83.00 it somehow takes the spirit away every time I look at it.
Satisfying my wife with the right gift - well it doesn't really matter what I get her short of a $2000.00 ring she won't like it.
Ash is right. The only good thing is getting together with family and friends!
And as far as whining I actually feel a little better now! I'm glad you brought the subject up Horse.
MERRY CHRISTMAS,

LOL!!!
I'll start off with saying Merry Christmas!
As for Christmas lights, it's the exact opposite, if I don't do them, they probably won't happen. Since I've been ill (3 years) I haven't put the lights out like I used to. Plus school is taking time, not to mention things like chores, trains, computer, etc. Just glad I finished that powerpoint for school, I feel like the day was lengthened by several hours.
I also enjoy getting a tree, plus the price always remains the same, about 30 bucks. ($83? That's a lot)
I've always been one to decorate, which has really made the house look good. (Still haven't put the hooks for pictures back in the wall.

Normally I hang wreaths from them...)
As time goes by, I enjoy it more, but the last few years I kind of foget it's Christmas. Still don't know why...
P.S. The only thing that makes me mad around Christmas is always the lack of snow, otherwise, I enjoy every part of it.
