definately dont get a sony.... they are way overpriced.... even the cheap ones are overpriced.... you should get the HP
oh and dont get one from best buy.... because all new computers come with vista and best buy only carries the notebooks with 1gig ram.... vista idles at about 1 gig...
the 2gig that they carry are overpriced as well.... if you can see if you can get a deal at circut city because i got a laptop with 2 gigs ram, 17 inch monitor, turion 64 -TL-64 dual core processors at 2.2 GHz each, and about 200 gigs hard drive space, the only down side is that it has a standard nvidia geforce 6150 go in it...
but definately got all that for 1k. not on sale... great price in my opinion... granted i didnt look hard for a cheaper one but circut city is bound to have black friday discounts who knows... it may have one on the computer i got.
