Poor choice of moderators

I've just been on the Ninjaserve (EOD) , playing a great team game for the last 2.5hours.

At our base airfield your Admin jumps in a tanks and drives onto the runway as i'm taking off then jumps back out leaving the tank on the runway and jumps into a helo and takes off.... My comment of 'I cant take off with the tank on the runway idiot' get's me kicked/banned? ROFL is this a USA server? could have sworn i connected to a USSR throwback server...

This the level of your admin? Poor guys, you got a great server and some great teamwork, just loose the kids huh plz?

It wasn't a ban, just a kick and for disrespecting an admin. Not to mention we try to run a tight ship, and would prefer people NOT running around insulting each other left and right. And actually you called him an idiot a couple of times, even AFTER he told you it was a bad idea. I believe you replied with some smart alec remark following that (though HP could verify it better through reading the logs). All we ask is show some respect, we aren't there to babysit, nor to listen to people bitching and moaning. Best advice don't call anyone an idiot.

And Horse I was the one that kicked him, and I take full responsibility for the action.

I called him an idiot once, not the most insulting remark really. Then I called him a fool true. But let's be fair if someone else did it you would think they were both.

Oh and no i didn't notice any warning a staight kick... my applogies to Bash since he didn't kick me but erm, there's 'tight ship' and ludicrous...

a few weeks ago i instructed these admins to BAN people on the server. after the .30 EoD patch release, the amount of crap on the server has gone up exponentially. consider your kick as your warning.

i do agree with you about people who drive to, then park vehicles onto the runway however. they are idiots

We don't have any admin using the name "Bash" or did not have any admin. playing using that name. I think the general consensus was that there was way too much cussing, name calling and general smacktarding going on during that game by both sides. Your comment only seemed to bring out the best in others.

In all fairness.. about the time you made that comment, I had someone jump into my Sheridan. I did not catch the name, but the next thing I saw was the comment about moving the tank you idiot. I think several of us thought it was directed at those of us by and in the tank over by Point Grace. Either way, I can understand your frustration. However, being polite and treating people with some respect can go along way. Even if the guy who parked the tank in front of you at the airstrip was a moron. (It was not me.. I use the Name Trahn Lee Liao in the game.)

Anyway, you got back in.. you played and things were okay.

I DO understand you guys trying to keep control, there's been loads of idiots on lately like that Kill Joy guy's been on each day tk'ing everyone's planes. You should maybe put the vote option on?

Khan if you see ANYONE shooting friendly equipment tell us please... We will take care of them. We TRY not to be jerks (occasionally we all have our bad days) and there is usually two admins on during prime time for the sole reason of discussing the issue before taking action so we will handle the situation as quickly as we possibly can without just outright kicking/banning every Tom, Dick, and Harry because someone else says to. And I do appreciate your patience in this matter.

But yes, you see someone base camping, shooting friendly assets purposely, etc. please do let us know. We generally don't kick/ban for TKers for the simple reason we weren't there and don't know what happened alot of times (trust me if one of the admins spawns in and sees his own guy just mowing down people we we will kick and ban him immediatly), and the TK code works pretty good at handeling that itself. All it takes is 3 tks and the guy is gone, 2 kicks and he's banned.

When's he usually on Dan? I haven't seen him yet and unfortunatly we can't ban without being on at the same time as he is (unless HP knows some secret). If you'll give me his usual playtimes I'll try and make sure to be there.

NM I see, 2AM... I'll try to be no there tonight at about that time to see how things go.
