Hrmm....so I was playing tonight, started out as ct on piranesi. ETB swapped me over to terro's and then POP. All of a sudden I was banned. There was a quick message before I was banned about "repeated" stacking which is just proposterous. I was 3rd on the team in score, so perhaps one of the top two guys should have been banned before me? And to me, that's only the tip of the iceberg.

The only admin I can think that would ban me would be jelly. I say this because whenever any other admin's on, I tell them (through ma_say) to swap me at will and they do. I'm only human and can't keep track of the scores every single round (that's an admin job, btw). Even if I did, being 3rd on the list, according to the motd, is no responsibility of mine to have to try to swap AFTER etb had switched me over! Jelly seems to come on when I'm on top of my game and assume I'm stacking for whatever reason. As I've said before, I'm an avid non-stacker and will willingly switch or be swapped whenever it's possible to do so. Most of the time I find myself using all caps to get people to go spec or swap, but to no avail.

I'll take this undeserved 24 hour ban in stride, but I would just like to post this for the record to say that it's unjust & unfair when I often go out of my way to prevent the very thing that I was banned for. A bit frustrated here.

ketchup i was on the map the whole time, since when you joined till i banned you. you are right, you did first was ct, then was switched by etb, but etb isnt any excuse for a stack. you can always asked to be switched over. I was "One" not jelly, and i complained about the stack like a noob, I was waiting for your response.

I choose to prioritize stacking by how long you have played here, and you have played here a great amount of time, and you know the stacking rules, and have been banned for it, was top of this list for me. I did ban soemone else from that map, it wasnt just you. But you have to keep your eye out, always ask to be switched. Oh and you had a 22-5 score on T, so it wasnt something where i instantly banned you, I let it ride for a while to see if you were going to switch. Dont say you tried to switch because I clearly did not see you say anything at all.

How am I supposed to ask you to switch me if you're not a recognizable admin? I'm not going to ask some random "one" guy if I have no idea that it's you. I do my best to keep an eye out for teams, but as I stated, I'm only human. I can't do an the job of an admin all the time, I'm just not perfect.

Then what's the point of ETB? Why have it? If I get swapped by ETB, I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that all is well until it swaps me again. If we can't trust it to make actions so that admins don't have to, then why is it implemented?

I'm not trying to start any flame wars or anything, as I think you can be pretty cool (only one to respond to my "introduce yourself" thread! <3), but next time, can I request you to say something or just swap me over to the other team before banning me? And yes, I do know the rules, and I do attempt to keep things balanced, but fallability comes with the territory of being human. 5 pints of Guinness at the pub tonight didn't help with my awareness either . I like to think that whether or not we're on the same team, we're still playing together, so how about some teamwork eh? I'm more than willing to work with ya if you're willing to work with me.

the idea of asking isnt asking admin, its asking the oppopsite team. taht way someone can spec or switch over, letting you go to the other side. you shouldnt need an admin to do it for you, or have an admin presense around.

etb... we might get rid of it... we are talking about it and such.
