ToD V .2 Update

Just got a response from either Nighteyes or Rigell (not sure which) for ToD .2 they are doing the Linux users the favor of renaming the OEM maps they change to tod_<map name> (i.e. "tod_khe_sahn") so that we can use them alongside the rest of the ToD maps on the Linux boxes.

Very cool! Personally, I like the OEM maps too. I think they have some of the best atmosphere of 'Nam.

I must admit I have yet to try this mod, but as far as the 'case' goes on linux, I'd have them make EVERYTHING lower case, directories, filenames, etc, just to avoid the potential for things breaking with an update, if they haven't already.

I'm surprised that they did ship the linux BFV server the way they did, but it was a different DICE team that produced it..so much for standardization!

Anyhow, expect alot of the silly changes that were put in in BF 1.5/1.6 to migrate to BFV (hopefully!) and all will be well with the world.

I also offered up my soul to beta test for them as well, as repayment for almost TK'ing NightEyes last week on the BFV server

I got sand stuck in my trigger!
