Performance issues

My machine is a P4-3.0GHz, 1 Gig RAM, Radeon 9600XT. And yet EoD/BFV is pretty laggy for me online.

What settings should I change to increase performance?

I don't really see how you are getting any lag with that setup. The only thing that it might be is video, and I highly doubt that. I doubt it, because the card you have is one of the best cards ATI made and is still one of the best mid-high range card. You can try updating your video drivers or downdating them to you find one for you. I would also try lowering some of your video settings. Other that that, I do not see why you are getting any lag.

I am getting nasty lag and sound corruption when I try and play too, so I have stopped. I get no issues in any other mod or vanilla bfv, so I am at a loss as to the problem.

I had some slight lag as well on two bridges and almost non on Chasm. I did check and did have some ping spikes. Like Drayu, I never had a problem with BF:V. At least it isn't bad enough to stop playing.

P.S. I was on a different server and didn't lag at all on Hill 937 day? (about 20 some people on it)
