bf 1942 is still FUN
I can't beleive i am saying this, but I have been playing 42 lately and its fun. Could be that I am playing mas i hjave not played in a while, but i am having a hella good time with the destroyers and battleships. One of the best things about the 42 series is shelling and sinking enemy ships.

Yeah, I'd like to go back to playing good ol' '42 (also because I don't have neither Vietnam nor BF2, nro do I have the money to buy said games.) Unfortunately, I get a slightly (read: nail-scratching-on-board) annoying sound bug whenever I hover my mouse over one of the buttons in the menu. I couldn't stand it the first time, so I unistalled, reinstalled, and tried again. Didn't go away. Waited about 1-2 months, uninstalled, reinstalled again, tried again. Same bug. Even tried changing sound card drivers. MEH.
No more BF42 for me then. Oh well. Back to WoW! (my hours are summing up nicely)

I end up playing bf1942 every night..i am usually on dead meat (theres a guy who plays on there alongside me named Cannon Fodder So CA) - always makes me laugh.

Horrible graphics is the most noticable lol. I'm not sure if I have any mods still installed. I know I have regular 42 installed.
Edit: Lol i shoulda just checked... I still have EoD, Forgotten Hope, DC, DC Final installed. I'm not sure if they're all up to date though.  |

you mean bf2 right? All the teams are dropping twl and cal slowly but surely in bf2 and going back to bf42 lol. If bf2 was half the game bf42 was it'd still be alive and kicking.
