good to hear you guys are ok. hope your Christmas went well.

i'll post some pics of a 107mm rocket attack on my brother's quarters when i can get back on my main computer(i'm on my wireless lappy). they aren't pretty, but no-one was hurt.

here's a question for you or Big Daddy: is the security situation getting better or worse for the contractor truck drivers? i'm thinking about coming over there and drving for one of them. do you know of a good trucking contractor?

Driving in Iraq

Hey, Horsepower, I sometimes get deliveries with U.S. drivers. (better than the Turks or Kurds, have to use hand signals to get them to understand) Some are DoD,I think. I will ask them about other contractors.
I will try to post some more pics if I remember to take my camera to work.

truck drivers in Iraq

Hey everyone, doing fine still busy from the elections here. Horsepower, you were asking about driving trucks over here. I talked to guy from KBR the other day, he said it is still a risk driving over here. But KBR is hiring like crazy, he says. To me, it is what areas of Iraq you are driving, some are ok and others, like where I am at, are fairly bad. All the convoys that go out have plenty of firepower. Anyway, heres a web site you can look: http://www.halliburton.com/careers/careers_kbr.jsp
