It depends what route you go. For the car I have the Roady2 which has a built in FM modulator. Works great, but if you want a crystal clear sound you'll have to hardwire the receiver into your car stereo. You can do this a couple of ways. Some radios have built in connectors for XM that you plug your receiver into. This will give you the best possible sound quality. For other radios, they sell an adapter to connect the receiver to your antenna. This supposedly sounds better than using the modulator straight up (less interference), but not as good as a direct plug into the car stereo.
I like using the FM modulator because I can easily move the radio between my two cars without having to pull wires(I bought two antennas).
For the home, I have a SKYFI boombox and housekit. You just plug the SKIFI housekit base into your home stereo. Sounds great, but If you're an audio junky, they have a SKYFI with builtin fiber audio output.
Here are my favorite channels:
22 - MIX
40 - DEEP TRACKS
47 - ETHEL
44 - FRED
54 - LUCY
150 - XM COMEDY
They also have a channel called THE GROOVE that I listen to every now and then. :p
