I just bought the BFG 6800 GT it is sweet It makes the BFG 5900XT I had look like its standing still

In 3dmark05 i went from 1200 to 4700 with this card

thinkin maybe the radeon 9800 pro-its a bunch cheaper and about the same card

From what I understand it smokes a 9800 pro.

I'm sure that's a great card, but there's no way I can afford a $400+ video card. lol

have you had any problems with either of those BFG cards? does the 6800 GT really only take up one slot? how big is your power supply?

By releasing we mean "today" as they should be on store shelves and online sites as you read this.

This will probably be the next card I buy (have a 9600xt now). I've been waiting for a good card around $200, and it is getting close to christmas . Although would you recommend this over the ati counterpart (x600 or whatever)? Is that even out yet?

I've got the 6800 Ultra.. I have had no problems with it. It DOES take up the PCI slot next to the AGP slot. As for power.. I've got a true power 550watt.. so I am covered.... I have not had any bad luck with any of the BFG Tech. cards that I have bought over the past few years.
