Did it actually come with all the hardware to put it together?
That's the joy of living by myself ...... I have never even OWNED a Christmas tree ... let alone put one up. I'll leave that crap to my mother, and I'll just go to her house and get fatter eating her home cookin'.:o

Thats not what im saying at all. I'm saying dont sweat the little stuff like a tree, or a messy truck. Because of your losses, you know exactly what im talking about....Enjoy it while you have it. 'tis the season.

Oh christ. Dont blow this completely out of context. Im saying enjoy what you have - Some of us get basically NOTHING this christmas. Some of us would LOVE to see their kids smiling as they open gifts, or give gifts to her parents. Of course, some people, like you, will sit there, ignore it all, and whine about how much wrapping paper is all over the house.
Bottom line is, 'tis the season' - Why not spread good cheer, keep a ****ing smile on, and gripe about the trauma of it all AFTER its over - And im not talking about this forum. I mean, in general.

I'm 24 years old and live by my self. Just b/c your single doesn't mean you that you can't make it a little nice at home Among all the pizza boxes
Well my tree is about a half of a yard high, and I didn't have to put it together. It was already put together when I bought it

Your the pinnacle of an easy life. (that's a good thing) Well, I'm glad you have a large family Groovy, because I don't. Both my grandfathers were dead when I was born and I lost a grandma in 97. My only other grandparent isn't doing right now, but granted she is 92. I will admit I think the world of her. Well, I think this thread has worked well as a vent for Christmas problems. As for advertisements, I don't read the paper, hardly listen to the radio, and their isn't much advertising on the History Channel. :p So I've barely noticed it for once in my life.

Yeah I appreciate what I have. The only thing I whine about is how christmas isn't like it used to be. It used to be that I would see my entire mom's side of the family on one day. However, since we've all gotten older, had kids, moved, etc it just doesnt happen anymore.
I agree with some that the older you get the more you seem to like giving. This year I got my wife a diamond heart necklace. Seeing her face when she opens that will make me a happy camper.
Now let's just hope she lets me get that TV.
Oh yeah Merry Christmas you bastages!
