Well... I'm here.
AND IT'S ****ING COLD. When I got off the plane it was -19C. All day today its been about -30C with the wind chill.
So far the place isnt that bad. The facilities are nice. Lots and lots of things to do up here. Bowling, drinking, eating, drinking, reading, drinking....
Naw, J/K. They have a real nice rec senter with movies you can rent, books to check out, and a golf simulator to play on. They run all kinds of classes and the enlisted club is real nice. I think that I'll enjoy this year.
Went to the Danish post office and signed up for thier "ADSL Package". Let me say this, NOT ****ING CHEAP. They say the connection is 512KB/s, that is actually around 470. Talked to people around here and they thinks its slower than that. The one thing that kicks the prices through the roof is they actually charge per MB. WTF is that!?

No, not green, but very white. It looks cool though. The snow is blown in off the ice cap, so it actually looks like a white desert. We got some snow dunes here and there. Saw an artic fox yesterday running around by our dorm (which is right next to the chow hall). It was actually black.
I tell you what, I sure am missing DCF right now.
