I'm not sure if anyone else is a movie freak like me but the list of nominations came out today. Here's the list:

meh i think ash is an ignoramous :p jk but I wouldn't mind jamie foxx winning for collateral, he does very well in that, not to mention as far as acting goes he doesn't "suck" if you look at his roles he's played a variety of different characters and done it well, from a low life gangster to a ray to an honest hard working cabbey(collateral) and a few comedy's which were so so. otherwise i have to agree this won't be the most exciting Oscar event by far...but it won't be horrible

oh and side note, collateral was done by Michael Mann who is an incredible film director when it comes to urban combat, one of his best movies was "Heat: The LA Crime Saga" if you haven't seen that or collateral I recommend both of them.

HAHA I have to agree with Stryker on that though I had anticipated on that movie being horrible so when i finally saw it i was entertained and enjoyed it, but yea the greatest part about that is, they sit there and fight the evil massing army to free their calm peaceful people from the rape and abuse of the romans and than in Brave heart the english are the horrible raping and abusive power ahh ya got to love irony oh and of course the british have to kill the savages...lol
