Can anyone recommend a good place to get a nice wood computer desk? Nothing ridiculously expensive. Right now I'm using an old drafting table and I'd like something a little better. I'd prefer an offline store simply because shipping for these desks from what I've seen is sky high. I checked Staples and Office Depot so far. Any other suggestions?

Hmmm... you looking for Solid Wood, such as oak? Next town over to me, sells very nice desks, only a few though, they are a little more expensive but, solid oak! Called Marie's home Furnishings... I personally have always purchased from Staples and OfficeMax. But I would recommend maybe grabbing the yellow pages, and see if there are any home furnishing stores locally , if you want to know repitable, then I wouldn't know.

try the salvation army... if that fails theres always the dump
