Okay since USA has the higest drinking age in the world, what is your idea about it? You think it's good?

hi my name is ash and i'm an alcoholic...
seriously i believe parents should be responsable for educating thier children on drinking from a young age and teach them 2 be responseable so they dont run out at a later age and either get alcohol poisoning or kill themselves or someone else while drunk driving

in the U.S. you can join the military at age 18 but have to wait to drink till ur 21. I find that to be odd. thats just my opinion (im 14 remember)

I kinda agree, if your old enough to go to war and die for your country, than you should definatly be able to drink.

joining the military here, at 16(be it reserve, and with parrential consent) they let you drink on base, atleast in the maratimes don't know about the rest of the country.

yea but almost no one here follows that law and most law enforcement doesn't bother with a minor drinking unless they are obviously waaay to young, or at some big party or making some kind of a disturbance, and even then they usually just give'em a slap on the wrist...drinking is drinking, the people who have problems with it are gonna have those problems whether they start at 18 or 21, but as i said no one really takes that law seriously.

I have heard that the US are very strict when it comes to 'no minor drinking'?
