Angry

I don't like where this thread is going.

If you wanna discuss politics and cuss at people please do this in another thread.

This is the "We care for our UK buddies and Are you all ok?" thread.

I thought that awhile ago but when I split a thread like this last time it didn't turn out well.

I have zero problem with you deleting the posts unrelated to it Stryker... Bonez or Swede might, but I really don't see them as being that concerned about it either. If they think it's that big a deal they can start a new political thread, just consider it a hijack (my posts included).

My thoughts go out to anyone affected by this.

I personally do not care who did it. It has already happened. Pointing fingers does not do much at this point. Blaming a terrorist cell does not matter to me anymore because they are all pretty much lumped in to one catagory in my mind these days.

Muslim, Christian, Catholic, Jewish, etc.. Who cares.

What matters to me is increasing security internationally and having better top level communications inregards to this kind of scenario.

I personally beleive that every country should set their own rules in accordance to what their people want, but i also beleive that in the case of terrorism, the entire free world should have a standard set of rules and if a country does not feel it is strong enough, or too weak thay can modify it.

Since 911, Every country claims to have stepped up security, and that is a great thing. However, when there is no fluent teamwork between nations it is kind of like playing battlefield 2 on a dial up connection. Sure, it works, but it sucks.

Terrorism is not something that is aimed at the USA only. Terrorism and forms of it have been going on since man has roamed the earth.

Plane hijacks were a popular thing in the 60's with Yassir Arofat in the PLO. That was aimed at Israel.

Suicide bombings are from several different terrorist orginazations in the middle east. And elsewhere i am sure.

Structurial bombings, Al'queda, Japan has a terror cell that did it, IRA (i think they do cars mostly), Timothy McVeigh and so on.

I know i am going on a rant here, but its been a while since 911 and though we have seen security stepped up across the world, there is still no fluent communications between countries.

If it is not poor communication, i would have to conclude that no country has an intelligence organization smart enough to know how to handle terrorists. (USA Included)
