Well....

.....i wouldnt say Harry Potter is gay ( i guess he is in love with Hermine, lol).
I think its good to give the kids something more then gamecube 'n stuff and make the read a book sometimes.

Whats really making me angry is the fact the Mrs.Joanne K. Rowling earns tons of money with stolen ideas!!!!!

When the first books came out i realized, she stole ideas like the "talking hat" and others from the really great authour "Terry Pratchett", who wrote some funny storys in the 60's and 70's.
(unfortunately i dont remember the books name, but i had a look at the date of its release, wich was actualy 1964)

In my opinion, the whole idea of "hogwards" and the wizards was taken from these books.

I don't care, I dislike fiction, so either way....

Right now I plan to finish a book called the Deadly Embrace (it's about the Nazi Soviet Pact), then I plan on rereading Stalingrad, and then, a book by the same author on the Spanish Civil War!

I agree there. That Harry Poter became so popular actually was a fantastic development.

I read an article about what you mentioned. I guess you are right, people do copy a lot from each other, being trully original is (i guess) very difficult.

For me the most astonishing novel(s) i have read were Isaac Asimov where those foundation, empire books. Brilliant.

Errmmmm....

Assimov? OMG, i read 2% of a novell and started to *uke (<-nuke).
I also read other authors of this (i'm not sure but i guess Assimov belongs to a special type of sub-genre of "post"(you never know what time it is) socialist science fiction authors. (or would it be pre perestroyka author)?

Well i dunno, and i dont remember the name of the other(2) Authors.

Whatever, as long as you're able to read a book(and youre TV and PC are still working), besides killing virtual dudes you must be on the right way.
