Ok due to lack of player base I've shut down the ToD server for a time and put up a Desert Combat Infantry Maps Only server. The IP is:

66.246.178.29

Currently running:

Bashrah's Edge
Basrah Nights
Sea Rigs
Urban Seige
Lost Village

Let me know your opinions or 2 cents, like I said, only changed out because the ONLY time it appears anyone plays on the ToD server is when HR are on there. At least this way we'll get some use out of the server and give us a bit more variation in what we play. I can also switch between ToD and DC with just 3 commands so that's not that big of a deal if we want to run ToD for a night or so.

The ToD server would get more action if there weren't some crazy weak maps on there - isn't there a way to allow BFV maps with ToD balance? That would be fun...

Not with the Linux Dedicated server, only the Windows build truly supports mods at the moment, and I ain't paying an extra $50/mth just to run Win 2k3 on the server.

want this server to stay full? ok, here's what you do. change the name to Ninjaserve SeaRigs/UrbanSeige DC.7. run those 2 maps for a few weeks. i'm willing to bet money that server will become populated. after you get a decent population, add the other maps back to rotation. before the SeaRigs server was taken down, it was very popular. use that to your advantage.

besides, Routerpimp might give all of HR oral if you only ran those 2 maps. :eek:
