Funny knowledge...
So I was sitting here and wondering something.
Obviousley sinse most of you ladies are from the States I was wondering where your early relatives came from???
I know that ASH has ancisters (spelling?) from Scandinavia, for example.
Tell us your story 
My mother is 100% Swedish but my fathers parents came from what used to be Germany, but today is Poland. They came to Sweden in the early 40's.
Reason? Well the war was raging so they decided to leave Germany for a country who wasnt at war - Sweden. And with all pieces in places, I guess it was a good move sinse their hometown is Polish today.

My family is from Germany on my Father's side, my mom's side is more English... I still have family in Germany, but since I HATE to fly, I will probably never meet them. According to my whacky aunt, I have Cherokee Indian in my blood, and yes she is whacky. My Great Uncle was from Germany, served for Germany in the war, with their Navy, he jumped ship, hoping to be picked up by a US ship, unfortunately, he was picked up by a Russian ship, and spent a few years in Siberia, which killed him.
So I am mostly German, seeing their was a republic named after me  some English and a little of something else, but I cant remember.

moms side swedish and danish
dads side english, irish, scottish, welsh, german, lithuanian, swiss, and blackfoot
which makes me a hienz 57 mutt  aka a native U.S. citizen
