Real Lightsabers

Today in science class my teacher tought me how to create a lightsaber. This is no joke. My friend and I had to try it out so we can to my place and put some together. It just so happened that we got in a fight using Romeo and Juliet lines for extra credit. Heres the footage.

Thanks, im still trying to learn how to add saber effect sounds. So far ive figured out how to add them , but when i get it all ready, the .wav file is like 5 times faster, so a lightsaber hum sounds like a blaster pistol.

are you using AVID or something else, because when i was using AVID for a project at school it had a habit of compressing or expanding the sounds too much.

use adobe premiere for great lineal editing..

actually its called LS maker. Its a program that lets you open up a movie file, add light saber effects. You have to go frame by frame and add in the start and end points of the saber. And the sound program is called LS Sound. With that you open the video, have a sound assigned to a key. At the point you want that sound, you press the key and it will put in the sound, then you add the extracted whole sound thing with the video and they should match up. When i open the extracted file its 10x faster so yeah.
