I work at rockwell Collins, world leader in avionics, and we had a company wide email a few months ago when they delivered the raptor, had some really nice pictures but I can't seem to find that email now.

I did not read the article, but i know about it. The engine is based on scram jet technology. This will be a stepping stone for flying and might even bleed over to other types of engines that will assist in better space travel.
