Google will do whatever China tells them with regards to results. It is in Google TOS to comply with country specific policy. Considering that China is going to dominate the internet within 10 years or less, Google made a good business decision. I think the human rights sucks over there, but business is business.

But Google is also doing one good thing, they refused to submit search data to the US Government. If it goes to the Senate Hill (which it will), I personally know one of people that will more than likely be speaking on Googles behalf.

That is more important than China, think about it, if Google loses this battle, the Good Old USA is gonna know a LOT more about you than you may want.

yea, ive got a gripe about the great firewall of china, the us still controls the internet, and the day that china shuts off the few links they provide for us (here at cisco) is the day they have driven themselves into the ground.
