I really can't find anyone, anywhere, that said "let the Governmental powers regulate and control themselves". I do know however, that a group of men wrote "We the People". "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it".

We the people did not have the opportunity to vote on this plan described below. Send your concerns to your Congressperson and state senator.




2008 Election Issue!!

SOCIAL SECURITY:


(This is worth reading. It is not short, but is to the point.)


Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years.


Our Senators and Congresspersons do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.


You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves. So, many years ago they voted in their "own" benefit plan.


In more recent years, no congressperson has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan.


For all practical purposes their plan works like this:


When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die.


Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments..


For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000.00

(that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275,000.00 during the last years of their lives.


This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries.



Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives.


Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00. NADA....ZILCH....



This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds; This Special little Club Gov. that has been put together has only brought about greed, lies, deceit, and disservice to the American People. Where has our Government of and for the People gone to?


"OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK"?


From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer) we can expect to get an average of $1,000 per month after retirement (Age 67 and rising and far below the cost of living).


Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 a month x 12=$1200 x 650 years= $7,800,000 in benefits to equal "Senator Byrd and Congressman White. I would say what's wrong with this picture, but, I don't want pornographic photo's in this email.





Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made.


That change would be to: Jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congresspersons. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us




then sit back.....




and see how fast they would fix it!





The insane part of this is that We the people have done nothing to stop the pillage and plundering of our country. We the people seem to think that our Congresspersons and Senators are looking out for us, but, in fact are looking out for themselves. Then we the People are shocked when anyone in Government is found to be stealing or caught selling off our country in pieces.

Wake up and start to take back our RIGHTS, We the People!






If enough people receive this, and contact their senator and congresspersons maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and good changes will evolve.
