What a joke....
It seems like every f*cking kind of government has their hand out for my pay check.... I had over 1200.00 deducted from my check in TAXES alone. Not including IRA etc. 1200.00? Whats the point of working hard if they do that.....

Because... how else would they get the funding to make important decisions like "The Official State Fish" and to research things like "The Amount of Broadband Internet Users in Iceland/the World." I'll have to find the links for those... though... the state fish thing I heard about on the radio... Walton and Johnson in the morning ... and it only applied to Texas/Texans. Of course, I have a sneaky feeling stupid things are being done everywhere else as well...
Apparently it all makes sense to people that aren't me

holy shit! this is my second year paying taxes and if they keep stealing from me like this its worth quitting my job!

if you want to see it changed, it's probably going to require a revolt at this point in time.

though I agree most tax money doesn't probably go to the programs it should I don't mind it too much(than again I barely make jack) but i work myself pretty hard and there have been times where I needed government assistance and it honestly helped so though I don't like seeing 2-3 hundred taken from my check every time if it helps some poor shmoe down on his luck like I was than I can't complain.

yea, i dont wanna start a flame war but hear me out...
when i walk into the hospital with a broken collarbone and i am forced to fill out paperwork before i'm seen and a goddamn illegal immagrant walks in with a little broken finger and gets treated - for free - without filling out ANY ****ing paperwork...i start to question all this government bureaucracy BULLSHIT.
- it needs to be overhauled. i wouldnt be suprised if bush finds a ****ing way to stay in term for another year.

It's perfectly fine to have an opinion!! Esspecially since I agree =P
I wrote a rant about it at my web site... basically being pissed off because the ignorance of the protestors is the ignorance we're letting into our country... illegally and without a care. Non-US citizens are protesting (in a language other than English) and us tax payers can only sit by and do nothing... or be called racist.

It would be better if all people used it for what its there for, to get themselves back on their feet, but too many lazy people could work but just choose not to because theyre getting money given to them. Theres always going to be someone that abuses the help we provide.

well what is really f$ed up is that yea its great that the kids are getting involved in politics, they have NO ****ING IDEA what they are protesting!!! there was a local newslady out asking people questions about the protest and almost every one of the kids had no idea what the bill was, what the protest was against, or what was happening.
GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
