How high...

should a intel pentium 4 2.8ghz hyperthread procer run?
mine seems to be running anywhere from 35c-40c and i dont remember it running that warm.

from the time i started this post and now, the bottom part of the heatsink fixture (the one attached to my mobo) one of the friggin clips broke so i got another fixture and put that one on. what a pain in the but. lol all better now though. she's runnin at a chili 32C.

I'd be very happy with those numbers. Intel chips usually run a bit cooler anyway.

I run my pocessors at about 50C when i overclock with no problem.

At about 60C processors get unstable.

You have lots of room for temp.
