So how's this working out for you Stryker? I was about to buy a copy of XP Pro but just had a look at this OS. Can you game with MCE? Any loss of functionality other than being able to connect to a domain? Any features you really like?

I will post something more in detail later (we have people coming to look at our house), but it's one of the best things I've purchased in awhile.

I was so sick of unhooking my main PC to bring it in the other room, and being able to stream HD from my PC to my 360 is just awesome. I'll probably be getting an HD Tuner card for my PC soon too, and ditch the Comcast DVR.

Hmm, didn't know there were any HTPC users here.

Honestly, I hate MCE. Not enough options. MS being big brother and deciding what's best for your viewing pleasure.

Try SageTV on an XP Pro box. Far superior.

Yeah Horse, Fox is right. It all really depends on what you want to do. For me the only way to stream video to the 360 is through MCE. What do you want to do ultimately?
