im so pissed i just have to vent... a female cop has now made it her ajenda to harass me daily to see if my band is practicing and ticket me. she is driving by everyday and if she hears us practing she will will ticket us. can you say abuse of power? without a call she has no right to issue a citation, as long as the nieghbors arent complaining who the hell is she to tell me when and where we can play music??? so i recieved a ticket today even though the law states that a decible level is allowed and she has no decible meter!!!!!!!!! she told me today that she will be by everyday to see if we are playing music and isssuing a citation!!! this is bullshit and cannot actually site me without a warning that i am in violation!! even though she is supposed to tell us to be quiet only once in a 24 hour period. i am going insane!!!!

Sue her. Get some money out of the deal. I play way loud and my cop neighbor doesn't even care. He even came over to listen. But then again, he is a bassist so he might come jam, maybe thats why he doesn't care.

Honestly.. they cannot right a ticket without a complaint, and usually they just give you a warning.. She obviously has it out for you.. I would definately go to court and fight it.. There are certain times in every area where there is a curfew (so to speak) on being quiet.. here in my area its 10 pm.. When we used to practice we always made sure that we did it early.. late night jams would always cause a problem..
