For the last couple of years I had been kicking around the idea of going to Iraq if I lost my job here. I was under the impression that the Halliburton/KBR truck drivers were issued firearms after a convoy was attacked a few years ago and the drivers were left defenseless. Apparently that's not the case. After watching this video, I think I've changed my mind about going to Iraq. $125K is not worth it if the military is going to leave you and you have no way of defending yourself. To top it all off, the driver in this video was was fired for on the job injuries...bullets he took in this incident.
