i will never ever live in texas even though austin is bad ass!!!! and sxsw is a joke... only for signed acts really these days. it used to be for unsigned artists but not anymore... seattle is at least still west coast and not that far from cali and such...

Ash.... get an atlas my brutha. New Mexico is WAYYYYYYY closer to LA than Seattle.
I bet Austin is closer!

you of all people talon..... austin is like the city that is equidistant from both coasts... and it is 1200 miles from Daytona Beach to Houston....driving so it probably is 1200 miles from the atlantic to austin.... which means its probably 1200 miles to the pacific as well.... well there are 3000 something miles from main to the southwest corner of the usa.... therefore you are off in your guess. 
EDIT: i was curious and checked it out....
