how to spend your tax rebate check
How to use Your IRS Rebate check:
As you may have heard, the Bush Administration said each of us would get
a rebate check to stimulate the US economy.
If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China .
If we spend it on gasoline, it will go to the Arabs.
If we purchase a computer it will go to India .
If we purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico , Honduras , and Guatemala .
If we purchase a good car, it will go to Japan .
If we purchase useless junk, it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy.
We need to keep that money here in America . The only way to keep that
money here at home is to spend it at yard sales, since those are the
only businesses still in the US .

Nah, the way I did it is I ended up paying the Feds. So, I'm a true patriot...
I'm getting my money back from my state, so I guess I should spend it all on porn to keep the money in the us? You know an American one? No, I know what I'll do to keep it in an American industry, put it in the bank.
Seriously, it would have been a smarter thing to say
"Hey, I'm going to give you some money. Put some money down on that insane loan you took out a few years back. Thanks for being an idiot and taking an adjustable interst loan out when you had absolutly no realistic way of paying it back. Seriously, you work as a cashier at McDonalds and you thought you could have a house? ****ing idiot."

garage sales are the way to go. Some people sell stuff that is valuable and you could go and sell it on ebay, and it would go for hundreds of bucks. Just good way to make a profit.

also you can support local stores and places that are "home grown" so that you put that monies back to the ppl around you. build whats close to you and you will see your area hopefuly do better. like if you go to a game resale store go to a mom and pop 1 not the gamestop of gamecrazy and stuff they blow.

Few things wrong here. 1. Money spent at walmart goes to americans because americans own it. Walmart already spent the money on the goods they have on hand hence china already got their share... Another thing Good car=jap hells no I don't care if it gets 30 plus miles to the gallon they still ugly cheaply made 4 bangers. I'd take ohh say a 2008 shelby GT over a civic any day or any car produced by the Japs.
Another thing if u really did take a loan which is not fixed perfectly knowing you couldn't pay it back its on you. If i was selling people loans I'd do the same thing. And yeah this did end up killing us but at the same time it was wat gave us so much growth from 2000-2005... all those nice little interest rates and all these people making 50-70 a year thought they could afford these "mini mansions" ahhh dreaming big dreaming big... next thing they know that 1 million dollar home worth 600,000 and they've paid 800,000 out 1.25-1.4 mill they owe. and they thinking duhh wat? foreclosure FTL then the rich going to buy it for w/e is left which is like half of wat the house is worth.. Then they wait 10 years when the housing market is back up and make 3-4 times what they paid for it. Rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer gotta love it
I still can't believe you jap=good

I'll field this one Ash...
Are you kidding Point? Seriously? Ya Walmart bought the product from Japan. no shit. However, as apart of the money we give to the good ole American wallyworld we are paying back what walmart payed for the product (the stuff from china). Walmart is a middle man, it's there as a market place for foreign products. My American dollar is funding chinese shit as well as lining the pockets of the rich American company.
Second, we understand that you own a beautiful Ford that sucks your pockets dry of your American dollar to line the pockets of the Middle Eastern oil moguls. Keep wasting that gas, not because the American gas station that gets jack shit from you spending $3.50 a gallon, no the MFers selling the crude oil are making the real bank off you. I'm not saying buy a Japanese car to compensate for gas mileage, there are American cars that can compete (sorta) but that's what biggest route taken.
Finally, on the interest loans. Yay growth? What growth? Ya the market alright then because of loans with death looming in the background, but cut the shit. How is growth good with the downfall being a recession? Again, that little boom period you tried to describe, some of the upper middle class made out well, but the poor never were really able to get out stirrups. And lo and behold AGAIN the rich got richer form that grand "growth". Look at it, who's going to make the profit in the housing industry? Are the people making oh idk 20,000 per year going to be able to afford a home that's half its price... 50 grand? God no. That's your middle to upper class making the money on that lovely suggestion of getting into the housing industry. Do you remember back when you were 10 when the government program called Hud Homes or some shit was out and people could buy a forclosed home for $1? You're telling me that Joe no teeth is going to be able to fix up that distressed property ( because that's what they where) to make money on it when he's only making 20 grand a year... really?
If you say get a loan again... whos making the money. Banks because of interest. So the poor guy that busted his ass to fix up that home is going to make what on the whole ordeal? Squat. Not to mention if doesn't flip that house in under 3 months hes going to start getting ****ed with taxes and not that pretty little loan he took out in the first place.
Didn't take out a fixed loan, no duh you're a dumbass, but! Back in the day every bank would entice you to take that type of loan. Poor people don't know what the hell they're doing with money, that's a part of the reason they're poor. That's why ash said the c***sucker line.
Ash, more thoughts?
