I think you should get a mutual fund and invest some money into it and save for your future. 2 months after you buy this, all those items will be 25% off cause something new will come otu to replace it. Unless you want to live in your mothers basement forever like remedyz and have no life then go for it, else get something cheaper that will give you everything you want. It seems you are doing this because you want the best of the best and to show off...its not worth it man..trust me...you will shoot yourself later.

Advice: buy want only what you need for it to do what you need it to do...and than add alittle.

way ahead of you corrosion got about 1k in mutual funds 8 in savings and another 1-1.5 in stocks i got another account for money I'm willing to spend about 700 in there and i got 2.5k in saving bonds so i think i'm doing pretty good i might take out those bonds because i'm already seeing interest i think i'm going to reinvest into gold or another currency. and i'm going to take about 500 and open a checking account and use that and get a debit card so i don't have to carry cash around all the time. Thanks for looking out for me tho! .

As far as monitor I don't know if it has to be super expensive just to be good. I got mine on sale at OfficeMax for $229, they offer a 2 year ACCIDENTAL damage coverage insurance, and in that price bracket it was only $30. I figured since I'll be taking this hefty 22" to LAN parties I couldn't pass that up.. all that needs to happen is someone walk by the table and knock it over, or me trip carrying it and I'm out $200 big ones.

But anyways I love it, right now I have the 22" mainly for my gaming and my old 17" off to my right that I use for instant messaging and web browsing. It's a very clear monitor, you can notice a difference if you drag something from my old dell 17" over to the new one, very crisp picture and nice and bright. Oh and it's just a cheap Soyo.

PS: Don't play WoW.. it takes over your life.

zero. my computer geek friend told me that when the 9 series comes out they are probably going to drop the price on the 8 series. still even though for the price the 8800 GTS is the best for the money. he says that at the moment one is best to get 2 and SLI them rather than get an 8800 GTX and thats not even getting into the brand new overpriced 9 series.

i dont know if the 9's have come out yet or what but if the price has dropped enough then you are probably only ever going to need an 8800 GTX or 2 if you are psycho.

seriously the best deal per processing power is the GTS in SLI. apparently you can get 2 GTS for the same if not less than a GTX and it performs WAAAAAAAY better.

(all that info was from him pre 9 series. if it has come out then check the prices and compare gtx and gts price to performance ratio i guess. i dont know how he does it but from what i have heard on the internets he is right. i guess you could relate it to the power to weight ratio of a car.... cept its power to cost.)
