i not saying your friend is a bad person most of the time the muslims in america wer raised to only know what there need to be know to be excepted but if we were over there we would see a whole diffrent way the act.

This is a long response, but I love you very much and want you to understand
some things before you go charging off with strong emotions of anger. I
understand your anger and concern. It is righteous indignation. But
exercise self-discipline and use your mind to address an issue first. Let
your emotions follow your knowledge, not vice-versa.
Extremists of any cause are dangerous, whether extreme liberals, extreme
conservatives, or extreme Muslims simply because they are willing to justify
any extreme means to accomplish an end. The liberals of our day have
created a moral vacuum which has, in part, created this opportunity for
Islam. Europe secularized a long time ago, dismissing christianity from
their lives. When Islam was conquering by the sword in the 8th century A.D.
to convince people to live by the Koran, Europe was going through its "Dark
Ages", a period of ignorance and corrupt Catholic pervasiveness. Muhammad
borrowed many ideas from christianity...unfortunately he convinced himself
he was the final prophet...and had his own revelations (shurahs). So for
the last 1,700 years, Arabs have lived with the Koran at the center of their
lives and Europeans have progressively pushed the Bible out of theirs.
When a social-moral vacuum like that is created, something has to fill it,
so secular humanism fills it; the belief that man is his own measure of what
is right and wrong...and the objective standard of morality external to man,
i.e. GOD, is relegated to a 'servant' of mankind, and mankind follows its
own nose for right and wrong, defining it to suit their own tastes. This
opens the door for extremism as any means is justified to achieve an end.
Extreme Catholics and extreme Protestants killed by the hundreds of
thousands in the 1500-1600s; Germany lost one-third of its population in the
30 Years War as Catholics and Protestants killed each other. That was
hardly Christianity, but most people know so little about the christianity
of the Bible that it is difficult to communicate to them what christianity
is supposed to look like...as God said, "My people are destroyed for LACK of
knowledge." If people choose not to know God's word, then it's hard to live
accordingly.
When the Netherlands or any country approves of and accepts immorality as
"normal" or "right", then it opens the door to Islam or some other extreme
ideology, as did the Germans in post-WWI Europe. Berlin was the home to the
world's homosexuals prior to the rise of fascism. Most people aren't aware
that the Nazis had the homosexuals wear pink stars of David to identify
themselves. Mass extermination is not the christian way to address the
immoral, but it is a method used by non-christian extremists. When the
Northern Kingdom of Israel apostatized and chose immorality and idol worship
as their way to live (worship on the "high places"), God allowed the
Assyrians in 732 B.C. to come and slaughter them...taking the women and
children captive and slaughtering the men. It was evil against evil since
none of them were serving God. When the Southern Kingdom failed to return
to God after witnessing that, God allowed the Babylonians to capture them in
586 B.C. Again, evil against evil. And if the West chooses to live as if
there is no God, then we should probably expect evil to do evil against
those who live evil lives; evil being that which is contrary to God's will.
Unfortunately, many good and innocent people are caught up in that. Truth
and innocence are usually the first victims of war. When a people turn from
God and seek their own morality, some worse evil fills that vacuum. It
seems to be a natural consequent to human actions of denying God.
This may be America's and the West's wake up call. I hope, and believe,
that the West will wake up and realize that the Biblical values and moral
standards of long ago are what made America and christian Europe great, and
the more we depart from moral standards the more we enslave ourselves to
immorality and all that it brings. Look at what Hollywood is producing and
how many of those Hollywood types live their lives. That is how most of the
world sees America, through the lens of Hollywood, and the drugs and
immorality that go with it. I cannot fault Muslims 100% if they view the
West as decadent. To a large degree, they are correct. On the other hand,
Islam is one of the most evil ideologies I've ever studied. It's "holiness"
and 'devoutness' is a façade, a false front. People are people everywhere.
Some just hide their decadence better than others. America is very open
with its immorality. Islam hides it very well.
When people acknowledge Christ in their lives, then they try to act like
Christ by seeking to walk morally, to do right, to seek truth, to love
others, to remain faithful in marriage, to remain married, to teach children
of Christ, and to teach others who are interested...and from that comes a
society that recognizes law and authority and self-discipline, exercising
personal responsibility...morality is an individual responsibility, and
society will only be as moral as the individuals comprising it.
There are several possibilities in the future;
1. the West may wake up and experience a moral re-awakening, a return to
christian principles. Taking a stand on absolute principles of right and
wrong give a society courage and willingness to fight, as we saw in WWII.
That is why you are so willing to fight and resist this movement, because
you have taken a stand on absolute right, you therefore have moral
conviction and courage.
2. The West may continue its moral decay, inevitably allowing some other
form of evil to dominate. Whether it was Assyrians or Babylonians,
eventually another form conquered it through greater force of harshness.
The Mongols of the 12th-13th century are an excellent example of extremists
annihilating a corrupt "christian" Russia and Eastern Europe.
3. In the long run, centuries away, the conflict between Islam and the
'christian' West may lead to a change in Islam and its weakening as Muslims
come to greater knowledge of the world and other alternatives. It may
secularize itself as it morphs into something different, or something less
important to its followers. It feeds on ignorance, so the more educated
people become, the less militant and extreme they are.
4. The western civilization we know may be destroyed, and eventually Islam
itself disintegrates, and mankind begins to rebuild; or Eastern Civilization
(China/India) become the centers of gravity for advancement of civilization.
The threat is always from within; we see the external threats pretty
clearly, like airplanes flying into our buildings. We seem less alert to
the demographic changes occurring. As Muslims make up a greater part of our
constituency in America and begin voting, we will see a change in our
Congress over time. The tolerance of democracy shown to Muslims will not be
reciprocated; by then Americans may not be capable of distinguishing right
from wrong, have forfeited all moral standards by which to judge anything.
When all is said and done, what matters most is that YOU be the faithful
follower of Christ by knowing His Word and following it...so that no matter
what happens, you live forever with Him even though you lose your earthly
life...which will happen regardless of what one does...we all must
die...just make sure you have been a faithful servant.
