Ok so yesterday i'm playing and shiii and then all of a sudden my ping goes up and my fps goes wayyyyy down. I think to myself oh well prolly just connection time for bed. So just now i go to CC server and my ping is like 200 and my fps is like 9!!!! i'm wtf mate. Anyway i'm pretty sure it has something to do with my graphics card. Any suggestions on where I can go to fix this?!?!?! Cuz i haven't got time to look it up right now (thx if anyone finds the right patches/upgrade I got an Dell E1705 laptop with a ATI mobility 1400 graphic card) And if i'm completely wrong about the graphic card then WAT IS IT?!?!?! plz help

If ping goes up to 200 AND fps drops, I highly doubt it's the graphics card. That would only affect the FPS, not your ping. Sounds like a connection issue possibly on your ISP's end. I'd just wait it out for now and see what happens by tomorrow. If it makes you feel any better, I had no internet last night and this morning... everything was working like normal.

To be sure it is the network and not your computer, use the 'ping' program. Launch a command prompt and type:

ping 208.68.172.135


Ok that still can be your network card or drivers or your computer, or your network equipment, or cables.

I just reinstalled my current vid drivers and then rebooted and that did the trick.
