PLAYXPERT - Stay In Game...

So what is playxpert? Essentially, it is a widget that runs through directx, allowing you to bring it up without having to alt tab. You can run most chat programs through it such as AOL, MSN, Yahoo etc. with a simple widget layover. Play your music with the programs you like, talk in chatrooms much like TS. Think early Xfire with the ability to make/add options you want and ignore those you don't. Again though, you don't have to alt tab. Right now it's a little heavy on the resources but they are still in beta and streamlining it.

If you're good with widgets, you could make anything you'd want to. Already there are widgets for WoW that allow them to pull up any info on any server/item/mob/person they want to. There are widgets for most of the major music players out there right now and lots more coming. There is a widget for google too. If you need a widget for something, you can either find it or make it.

The big catch of course is not having to alt-tab. It's really nice. What I'm more interested in is the voice chat programs quality. I haven't had anyone else to test this with so if someone would like to try it with me that'd be awesome. My handle on PxP is Brift, of course.

I like it...but not installing till out of beta. Also need to know if it installs spyware or something to track you with.

I've checked it. It doesn't put anything of the sort on your computer Corrosion.

And you don't have to be a "widget" person to get into this. It is essentially the next big thing. It wont be long before you'll be able to access TS through this program without having to alt+tab. Or a webpage to our forums if you need to.

If you know how to make these sort of things they put the tools in your hands, all you have to do is dl it. It's the next thing to open source.

It's kind of a no-brainer. Control and access anything you would want to without having to minimize your game, all in a intuitive and fluid manner. It's only a matter of time before it's THE program to use for gamers.
