Why in the world would anyone need that much camera? 10 mp cmos not big enough? You need a GIANT telephoto lens so you can zoom in on the crotchal area of women getting out of cars?

A regular SMALL camera that fits in your pocket with 4x-10x optical zoom is more than sufficient to take 95% of pictures. Why do you need that huge thing to carry around like an anchor?

If all you are doing is taking pictures of your naked girlfriend that why do you need more than 1600x1200 resolution? (what is that 4 megapixels?)

Talon you are a man that knows so much about a lot knows nothing about this. Go try taking your point and shoot and getting it's output printed in a full page article. You won't. Also, editing jpeg images is completely inferior to the RAW format that any DSLR camera puts out. RAW format is the closest thing there is to being actual film. So why don't you just buy a film camera? Film costs are high, editing is hard unless you have an expensive scanner, good luck deleteing a messed up picture.

I'll agree I'll only carry around my 7.2 point and shoot and because I know what I'm doing will be able to get decent pictures. I have never, regardless how much i've ever tried, get anything close to the vibrancy a real digital camera will produce. Don't care that your pictures are shitty or editing the shittiness? Buy a point and shoot.

Also taking naked pictures of your girlfriend sucks if you have that 4mp camera. You ever look at a picture from one of those cameras at full resolution? They're shitty, point and shoots have such high mp now so you can tone them down to a 5 inch picture and it looks crisp. If I'm taking nudes of my gf I want that shit pornstar quality for later use.

True and regular 100-200$ cameras are s***! if you wanna take motion pics good luck getting quality with a 5 or 6 or even 7 mp camera, it'll b all blurry and shitty, , these professional SLR cameras mean business, you don't get them for taking pics of urself in the mirror for a myspace or facebook, or taking standing pics of urself , NO if your that type of person, and i bet thats what talon means then true you don't need a 2000$ camera, all i'm saying is that with that 10.2 mp camera you can capture some priceless moments (with ur friends at a concert, roadtrips , amusement parks w.e) that a regular camera can't handle. Theres millions of posibilities that an SLR camera has and yes that includes spying (weird, talon came up with that anyway). Iunno these days you don't see that many ppl asking you to stand still for a pic, technology is getting better and these new tiny lil sony cameras are looking good.
