mandatory healthcare insurance??!!

F**k these thieving insurance companies!!!!!!!!!! F**k these politicians!!!!!!!! We need to destroy this bullshit system that protects the wealthy and steals away our freedoms!!!!!!! Why the hell should I get insurance I can't afford??!!! And if I don't get it I get fined 1000 bux???? What kind of freedom is this???? I want out of this doomed pile of shit country!!!!!!! We are obviously owned by insurance companies (AIG?) as we have been shown by the 80 billion we gave them and the new law about to be instated which obviously was lobbied with the money we bailed em out with!!!!! So the money went from us to the insurance co. and then into the pockets of thieving politicians!!!!! It seems time for cleaning out the corruption that was guaranteed to us by our constitution!!!!!! We are owned we are slaves and I want out!!!!!!!! Oh yeah and **** Obama too.. Liar... Theif... Slavemaster... Where is our change?? In his pocket?

Ash... for the first time ever... i agree!!!

Not about wanting out of the country or that we are owned by the insurance companies.

Overall i think that there are a lot of things that are still great about our country. We have just been overwhelmed by the propaganda of the people intent on destroying our way of life and turning the US into another 3rd world country to "pay for our sins"

I think that people are actually starting to wake up though. Hell even you are seeing it!!!

Yeah, this is pretty stupid. I'd put it up there along with the recently enacted $100 seatbelt violation the Great State of Florida is now enforcing. But hey, I can legally ride a motorcycle here without a helmet. Go figure...

Is it just mandatory to take the insurance, ie. in a way a fixed amount tax for everyone? That does not sound fair for people with small income. The better off already have the insurance (or ought to).

Do they not look for examples at countries already doing the stuff?

Healthcare is a big part of government budget here, but anyway it is only a part of where taxes go. Healthcare is part of the taxes, is included in the percentage taken, so it's not at all so big a burden for the poor. Still, the care you get is not the fastest - you'll end up queuing to even essential operations for months. If you are rich here, you'll still get extra insurance and end up going to private clinics for most small problems, you do not want to queue. But the best care for serious conditions - cancer, most surgeries - are best done in public healthcare. And it is one of the best you can get around the world.

No I have been seeing reality for a long time. This is just the latest. And I will never agree with you and the rest of the neo-liberals and their "free market"... You may agree but the rest of your party doesn't, they support this mandatory insurance they just don't want Obama to add on the Govt. option insurance which is supposedly gonna be affordable... They are selling this bill by telling people it will make the govt. 36 billion dollars in ten years... 36 billion dollars stolen from the poor because there won't be one upper middle class nor rich man that gets a $1000 fine for not having insurance. If you think this country is great you can have it. I see all of our rights and freedoms stolen away so why would I want to stay? Everyone is complacent and asleep and willing to give everything that so many gave their lives for right back to the aristocracy. Revolt seems like the only answer, actually not true revolt just removal of all career politicians seeing as they don't represent the people and our constitution guarantees us the right to remove them. If only we weren't so divided and fighting amongst each other by the liars that have convinced us the right and left in this country are 2 different parties while they steal everything from us....

And Jakko I totally agree with the dual healthcare system. Have free for those who want it or if they can't afford private, and have the private for those who don't want to use the govt. healthcare... not that big a deal. If americas runaway f**cking military budget was merely halved it would free up all the money we needed for both education and healthcare, but noooooooooooo, we have to be the cops of the world at the expense of our citizens. Bullshit!!!!
