And here i thought I was amoung some of the most updated gaming nerds but as i scan through the forums I see none of you have posted about and even said anything about DOOM 3!!! I finally got a copy today( aka pay day) and a new 512 for the ol'machine and hot **** its the freakiest game I have ever played in my life!!! thing has you jumping and screaming well for one of two reasons either you have a nice system and its working and your scared as **** or you have a **** video card or not enough ram and your attempting to vent your anger by not smashing the computer haha either way though this game is awesome!!! go grab a copy its sooo much fun!! :eek:

Yeah I've got a copy and I must say I was supprised to find myself enjoying it as much as I am. After reading alot of previews I was thinking Old Doom+new graphics=$54.99?!? I don't think so, but as I hadn't played any new games scince BF:V I went and bought a copy anyway. Multiplayer is complete garbage. Thats was the first thing a tried and the only options are a couple different DM styles I must say though the SP experience has been a blast so far. Play it at night with the lights off and if you don't have surrond sound, use headphones. Fun stuff.Now whether it's worth playing again after finishing it once? Probably not. With the MP as ****py as it is after I run through the game once or twice it'll probably collect dust on my shelf unless some good mods come out. Of course I havn't finished it yet either so I guess we'll see.
