A real asshat

So I work at bestbuy in media, aka I'm the guy who helps you find movies, cds, games, software and then try's to talk you into buying our most expensive shit to play/watch it on anyway yesterday i get a customer in, i greet him and get one of the typical responses in this area, the "I'm better than you cuz i have a big wallet, but am too ****'in stupid to figure out the alphabet and find my own cd so find it for me." attitude type, i take it with a grain of salt and help him go down his list of cd's and finding them, all the while I kinda notice his beautiful but quiet wife and cute little girl(couldn't be more than six) trailing behind us in kinda an odd almost servant like form, i don't really think anything of it. than we stop and the guy is look at the back of a CD and I glance over at the wife who is just sorta jumpy yet spaced out looking and then down at the little girl, most kids in our store are smileing and playing with all the gizmo's and crap and just sorta happy well she is sitting right there....never moved an inch completely quiet and respective but kinda odd for a kid, than the little blues eye look up at me and on the side of her face i hadn't seen a giant ring of bruising all around her eye...aka a black eye and a few on her arm, jet a look to the wife....got few bruises herself...I'm usually the best in our department for dealing with ass wipes cuz i never lose my temper...but the scared look in that girls eyes put me over and i dunno what but that asshat started asking me about something and i totally froze wasn't responding at all, one of my co-workers comes up grabs my arm and drags me into the back saying something.....I beat the shit out of an old poke'mon stand and than organized a shipment for the rest of the day, anyway I needed to vent so yea

Me and that guy would have needed to have a discussion in the men's room about the need for him to seek counseling. I would have pursuaded him using tactics such as eye gouges, kidney punches, and sternum rubs. He would have gladly sought counseling.

ask him if he like "insert artist here" if he says no, smoke his face into the display over and over agian, if he says yes, do the same thing.

so what if your fired, he would be under investigation which will have his family moved.

Eric thats why there is a police. Never take the law in your own hands. Call the police and they will work it out.

Sadly, Child abuse laws in the states or some of the states are lacking. Unless the mother would be cooperative. Nothing will/would ever come of it.

If there is abuse there.. SHE has to take the first step and that is to get the hell out of the relationship.. get away from the man.. However, that is easier said then done. We can all stand in and look at someone else, but until we have been that person.. WE cannot know what she is dealing with.

She may be so afraid that she is unable to help herself get away from the man that is terrorising her.

I hope she finds the strength for the sake of herself and her little girl.

Here if the women don't want to press charges, the police will normally take him for a ride and "speak" with him about it. Just to let him know that they have their eyes on him.

I would of froze too. That is definitely an awkward situation. What to do, what to do. I just hope the guy get's what is coming to him.

oh my gosh dude, I wouldn't be able to handle that i am speechless it i can't believe ppl!!!i would've done the same thing not said anything for being so shocked at what happened. dude throw a few more punches at the pokemon display for me!!!!

yea laws here about abuse are getting better but like trahn said its up to the women anything i did woulda caused more harm than good from what i can factor out now...even though if my co-worker hadn't pulled me to the back at the time i might be out of a job right now

but now that I've thought about it someone needs to talk to that women and get her to realize what kinda an asshat that guy is...

She knows. Deep in her heart she knows. But she's hoping it will change - it won't, but she will realise it at some point - maybe the next time she wakes up in a hospital. Someone talking to her won't so any good, but hopefuly she will find the answer and the strength within herself. It takes a lot to get out of that situation, and in many cases, you spend the rest of your life looking over your shoulder. There wasn't anything you could have done and if you had, it would probably have made it worse for her.
