How do i become registered in TS?

as topic, id like to get a R next to my name as well

is there any way to do that? im not an expert in TS so i really wouldnt know :/

You can't become registered.. At least, not on your own. The only people that get registered are people that an admin. allows to get registered.

We typically do not do that for security reasons on teamspeak. Too often we get the general public (it is a public teamspeak channel) coming in and masqurading as someone they are not..ie.. Like claiming to be one of us (admin.) Using our names, etc.

These people then try to get an admin. that is on the channel to grant them the ability to register or give them admin. rights. NOPE.. It won't happen.

No, I am not saying that you would do this, so don't take that wrong. What I am saying is that we won't let people register because of all the idiots that have abused the privelege in the past.

Besides, while cool, you do not need the little "R" next to your name to speak and be able to be heard.

Therefore, don't look to get an "R" next to your name anytime soon. It is just policy right now not to allow people to register. Those that have an "R" are most likely admin. or long time players/memebers of NinjaServe.

Its always been that way as far as I know.. If you got registered.. Then someone let you do it. Its typically, not given out.

admins are free to allow people who frequently use our TS server to register their nicks. just be 100% sure you're not allowing an imposter to register as a regular. typically, the people admins allow to register are either friends or someone they play with a lot. to sum it up...if you're on there a lot and play with one of the admins a lot, eventually one of them will get a hair up his/her ass and allow you to register once they get to know u.

le me make it clear that registering on Teamspeak only reserves that nick for you. there is no other benefit.

make sure you guys are writing your passwords down. with exception for admins, clearing someone's password on TS is NOT a very high priority for me.

well, ive been playing on these servers for quite a while now, but if you still think im not "well enough known" then i guess ill wait a little longer. its just something that i like to have, i know you dont get any other benefits (i read the permissions on TS after all) but i still like to have my nickname registered
