Being in the channel for you side during game is no fun but...
I know we talked about this the other night:
It is a lot more beneficial to you and your team when you are in the correct channel for your team when you are playing, but it isn't fun when you can talk to each other. Someone, I believe kronic, said that there should be a way to talk to other channels...
well I looked on the net, briefly, and didn't find much....but I was able to figure something out in TS...If you go into keyboard settings you can set up keys to switch channels....and it works while in game...so the below pics are how I did it. Give it a try. I believe this way would be better, b/c then we could chat with each other and be in the right channel.
1st pic- Choose key settings
2nd pic- click add
3rd pic- make the action switch to/next channel, then click set and choose a key (I chose / , use something that isn't in the game and you won't use when you go to type something). when done hit ok
4th pic- make the action: switch to/previous channel, then click set and choose the key ( I did shift, then / ). then click ok
now go try it.

That could still cause confusion while in game, as in people switching to the wrong channel, or switching into the opposing channel by accident(or on purpose)
Personally, if there is no way to speak in game to each other by hitting a kewy, then when the game gets serious, we should all switch into our correct channel... DRAYU... is there anyway that we can be in our channel, but lets say hit like the alt key and speak to everyone in that channel?

There is also a global chat button in TS.
You can talk to both both sub channels at the same time. If I remember right.
Don't know if this is what you want.

It is labeled as the "WHISPER KEY"
In TS
Settings
Key Settings
Add
Under "KEY COMBINATION" click set under the first box....
press desired key (not the same as you use for normal push to talk)
under "ACTION" select "whisper to"
click OK
then CLOSE
That should work.
Foz
second column in "ACTION" select "channel pre-defs"
third column in "ACTION" select "channel family"

Sweet Man! I figured it out. Yeah I know you said something last night about writing a script Kronic, but I did this in the mean time. Just go under keysettings/add and put in the settings as in the picture below. you can set the button to whatever you want, but I recommend not a key you use often in typing, ie E.

The only thing that sucks with this, is...
when someone talks.. .you dont know what channel they are in, and makes it hard to reply sometimes...
But it sure does make TS usefull during CTF.
Maybe we can get That Chan changer script working again... Make it only turn on when MORE then 10 players are on a CTF map. Or something similiar
