Joining the Team's Channel
It's fun chatting with everyone in TS but no one ever joins their respective team server (aka everyone joins the first US channel because this is where everyone else hangs out). If I'm not mistaken, I think the lobby is for that.
Anyways, it's a little annoying when you are trying to coordinate your team's efforts when a few guys from the other team are sitting in the same channel. To compound this issue, there are two channels named "BF2 Ranked U.S Team". I know there is a sub-channel on the 2nd one for MEC/China but I think the second outer US channel should be renamed.
This was one of the main reasons why I took so long to initially hop on the NSN TS server because it's simply a lot easier to communicate with Yinbo without the other team knowing what we were planning. Anyways, I hope this problem is addressed but in the meantime, I'll keep checking into NSN's TS first and if people are not in the right channel, I'll probably be on my own TS server.

When I'm on I usually move people from the main channel to the respective channels if there are tons of people on. If there's only 1 or 2 people from the other team on, I usually don't bother.
There's only one channel that's for Ranked, the other is for the unranked server.

We actually have 2 unranked servers, one SF and one Vanilla BF2(Vanilla still needs to be updated yet )
We'll get the channel names squared away

While I agree with you for the most part Trinh, half the reason I play on Ninja is the interaction with most of the regulars. I like talking, BS'ing and other general shit while I'm playing.
I agree with Stryker... if it's a couple of players here and there, it's usually not a big deal. If I'm on the opposing team I just ignore what I hear... I can't say everybody does that, as I know there are a misguided few who think it's funny and makes them better than the rest of us when they "spy" in on our conversations.
Back to my point... I come to Ninja for the games, but also for the community. Segregating that just because a few people want to be punks isn't worth it... Some people just need to grow up and recognize that it is just a game after all.

Yeah, I agree that half of the fun of playing at NSN is for the community. But the other half is the competition. I feel that when everyone joins the same channel, the community aspect encourages players who chat together to all try to be on same team and thus stack the US side most of the time because people usually chat in the US channel.
I personally like joining the game, finding out what team I was auto-assigned to and then alt-tab out and switch to the proper channel in TS. Then, I can proceed with yakking it up with the players on my team.
I know it's usually not a big deal if one or two players are from the other team listening in, but the competitive kick is lost for me when I know there is a really good player from the other team listening in on the team channel.
I don't necessary think it's segregating people if we ask people to join their respective channels. I think we can still have almost 8-10+ people from each team on the TS server so I still think that allows for community aspect to continue.

When we get a big group of players in TS, on mixed teams, I will usually try to split us up. As long as everyone is cool with it, which they usually are. Not trying to repeat everyone else, but when it's just one or two it's not that big of a deal to me.
