This has nothing to do with lack of server administration. I was on during that time. These guys are coming in with some kind of hacks. We used to be able to IP ban them, but now they use a false IP.
When they can't be banned we can't stop them. I tried and it didn't work.

A temporary fix -

If you go into your settings menu, then choose options, then choose the Sound Notifications tab. Click the (+) next to Joining and Leaving Channels. Highlight Player joined, then at the bottom click on clear. Then highlight Player left, again click clear at the bottom. Then click on apply. This will eliminate the sound file of unregistered players joining and leaving. Once you do this you won't hear the spammers bot joining and leaving the server.

oh i thought you were afk bravo. Kuz i was on i left then came back on to see if was fixed and you were still there. you should have banned #12 he never left when he entered.

As I said in my first post. They can not be banned. They use some kind of hack and it does not allow anyone to ban them. The menu used to do this ends up all grayed out. Most of the time I just move them around, when they move themselves they get banned for excess flood. That is the only way to get them off. The guys last night must have known that because when I moved them they did not change channels much at all and when they did they waited at least a minute before moving themselves.

Your best defense is to read the part about disabling the sounds for players joining and leaving. If you eliminate the sounds, you won't even know they are doing it.

Thanks bravo. If it gets worse maybe there could be adiscussion about password protecting the TS server. But this is the first time i've seen a spam bot this evil.
