Scratchy Mic in game/on TS
A lot of players as of late are having issues with scratchy mic in game when using our TeamSpeak. Corrosion and I played around and found a fix. Goto Settings > Options > Other Tab and check "Enable GameVoice hardware support." This seems to correct the problem or it at least worked for him and I.

Oddly, this seems to have just started for a bunch of players. Not something that has been going on. I didn't change anything and now I'm getting the crap!

You know what..try turning off the boost mic under the css options. Maybe that would work. Maybe started ever since the speech codec was changed?

LOL...you sound like ash..always the last to know. It was changed recently cause less laggy and more clear. Thats why you can hear each other clearly now compared to..idk 2 months ago? Try going onto some random server and listen to people talk then rejoin this server...and you can tell the difference. Thanks to bombcode

You must be talking about the Voice Over. I heard people talking about it, but I never saw anything about it being implemented.

Im talking about the codec used to speak in game in css while you are connected to the server. Yes, you can change the codec...and thats what happened. I did it on our server when we had one back in 1.6 days.
