is there any adding a password to the teamspeak server would help reduce spammers?

i know yall have probably had this chat a million times by now but now i want to know...
is there any way adding a password to the TS server would help reduce spammers? or add them to channels that need to be obtained in game or here???

I actually made this topic a while back so i have a perfect reply.

Members wouldnt be as able to join the TS server. If we advertise the password via server message and post it on here, the 14 year old fat bastards will still come in and annoy the crap out of us. Also, we are posted on a main list of TS servers so we can just be picked out of a crowd (this happens alot). Usually they dumbasses have only the spam in and out hack which can be taken care of by disabling the sounds when people enter and exit. I have my sound set to only alert me when members enter and leave.

So ya, passwording the server is never going to happen here. Community teamspeaks aren't usually passworded either. We also have a passworded clan channel, so if you get annoyed enough go sit in there with some of the guys

We do have certain channels that require a password so if a spammer decides to annoy everyone, then you can all just jump in that channel.
