Ok the original metal gear solid was the best game ever for a console, the only one man army game with a kick ass story as well as fun gameplay...the sequel had awesome graphics and engine but....well the story was too crazy and crappy, but my god does this ever look good

should be good, but i rember the allnighters that i pulled beating the first one over and over on the diffrent difficulties and getting the bandanna and the tux, absolutely badass game.

don't have a gc or ps2 but a couple of my friend have one or the other, so i might get to play it.

hehe yea i remember those days too, I would waste hours of my life on the original mgs and probably will again right before i buy 3 I just hope that it is better than 2...the sequel was awful in my opinnion

Just beat it....hideo kojima made such a damn good plot with this one, i played it day and night non stop, couldn't put the controller down, if you liked the original metal gear solid it is an awesome game, I couldn't get enough and am sad that it is now over, it was great!!!!! Snake rules, best gaming action icon of all

yea...well...I kind of literally played all day and night...as in i didn't sleep...haha its an addicting game and if you have it on a good difficulty and truely explore all the aspects of the game you'll get well over 25 hours out of it, but yea most the games are getting shorter but it still kicked ass!!
