not sure how many people liked doom3 but the expansion is coming out soon and if you were a big fan of doom than you'll like it, basically its a sequel and picks up where doom3 left off but now you're part of an expedition unit sent back to mars when a signal is picked up coming out of the original site. looks like it could be some fun

not yet, but will when i feel like gaming again. btw, if the 5.1 surround sound in this expansion pack is as good as it was in Doom 3, you're in for a treat with those new speakers. it's kinda spooky when you enter a dark room and then begin to hear multiple growls coming from all around you.

make sure you calibrate.

yea, I played doom3 for five minutes earlier...gonna need a strong will to play it again haha I was scared ****less haha

I got the Res. of evil ex.pack. If you can miss the couple of bucks it costs, then i would definitly get it. It is in the same line of Doom3 you arive at Mars and start finding your way to the end goal (what ever it is, i cant get passed one of these Hell demons at the moment). There is a new weapon a gravity gun, which works a bit like the HL2 gun.....plus that you can catch fireballs with it and torped them back to the demon (this however requires some skill and speed). Sounds are awesome, graphics too.

Doom3 could be a bit more variated (you can get borred) but somehow i can't play the game for long anyway (it is too traumatic!! Yes I'm a whimp )
