I'd be more apt to put up an ET server than a dods one at this point. Loved Wolfenstein and once upon a time we actually did have a DODS server up when it first came out but the players just weren't there.

I'd rather put up something like ET for a couple reasons. For one, the game is absolutely FREE, for everyone. Secondly, you can set up a campaign that will accumulate your XP over a few maps. An objective gametype server would be great in my opinion. And who can't pass up a free game?

I completely agree. I loved xp ET servers..they were very fun. Im hoping if you decide to, that there will be some good custom maps too...cause those are fun!
