Toetag was here at my place today. I showed him what Vista looked like and we we also talked about whether Enemy Territory was going to use DX10 or not. Just now I stumbled across a DX9 vs. DX10 video comparison in the Crysis game. Thought I share it with him as well as everyone else. While DX10 looks good, right now it's not enough to make me run out and get a new video card when new games come out. I will wait for my next upgrade cycle.

ya my rebuild cycle is comming up in winter/spring so i guess i'll be playing dx10. the game FEAR looks looks almost as good in some points of dx10


i'm sure by the time i get to my cycle the 8800gtx will be cheaper

Yeah, that wasn't really the best trailer they could have come up with showing the difference. They should have done a side-by-side screen from the same .dem file. Or, you know, airbrushed the DX10 demo a bit more, a-la Glamour Shots

I honestly didn't see too big of a difference.. not worth Vista+Video card $$
