Frontlines

Anyone seen this???

Looks great and guess who made it? Kaos Studios and Frank Delise! You guys know him right? The one and only Frank Delise of Desert Combat Fame!

I was surfing the Gamestop site checking out the game and noticed his name was on it.

I am thinking of picking it up.

I picked it up today for 360, I'll give it a 6 out of 10, its kind of like battlefield 2142(the guns are pretty much like it) theres some nice vehicles in it, you can fly using helis/jets and drones(thats the best part in my oppinion) the graphics could've been better.The game also doesn't handle very well. By that I mean it isn't that fun to just do simple things like aim, run, and even to go prone.The graphics are a more shiny higher-end Xbox game. Frontlines lacks any good textures. The only thing that looks good are the guns and vehicles...but its like they didn't focus on improving anything else. I wish it was as catchy as cod 4 or vegas 2 which is coming out next month i believe? Anyways if your a 2142 fan you might like it, or not, I know kudos put a lot of effort into making it but it could've been way better.

please do not compare a console game with a PC game. I am talking about the PC Version. Everyone knows that consoles suck!

The Graphics, Textures and game feel are way superior to COD4 which is the big hit game right now.

At least compare it to a real computer game not a lame teenage console.

I did pick it up. It is awesome. It is halfway between BF2 and BF2142 in gameplay with a lot of awesome features and excellent graphics. The movies that are on the site are mostly real gameplay so if you check them out you can see what i am talking about. The coolest part is there is a real Single Player version. Not like battlefield. I am doing that right now. It is pretty fun.

ugh, you kiddin me, good game? wht do you get for playing online? achivements-no unlocks-no no rewards no fun...and yes the only good thing about the game is the single player, i had fun with it, but then by the end of it , it kinda got cheesy, hopefully bf bad company will be better than this...AND NO CONSOLES ARE NOT LAME , but yes lil kids are annoying.

I just finished the Single Player. Will check out the Multiplayer soon.

My Computer is acting stupid again. I have to fix it.

I played the beta version of it. File Planet also hosted or gave out keys for the beta back when it was available.

Gameplay was fun, but there were only two maps for the beta. In the one, it turned into a drone war. ie.. people flying around exploding recon drones into the other teams. (Yes, recon drones have an explosive charge). There is always of course, the sniper fest battles and just general mayhem.

Overall, I thought it was a pretty decent game. Time will tell on how it plays out now that it has been released to the masses.

Well I did some Multiplayer. Eh..

I don't like the way the helicopters fly at all. The lack of upgrades or rankings of any kind is a serious mistake. People are not interested in a game that has no goals anymore.

From what i saw in the Multiplayer it is totally a snipefest. I like the additions of the secondary class that is cool. But it was kind of pointless with the limited range the drones have.

I don't know if i will keep playing it or not. We will see.
