The battle of the BF2 providers continues...
We're nearing the end of our month with our current provider for the ranked server and we've decided to move on...
That being said, we've come up with 2 more that are pretty decent contenders, GameDaemons and ECGN
So, over the course of the next 10 days or so we'll need to get on some of these potential servers and give them a test drive...
Here are some IPs to jump on and check out:
GameDaemons:
GameServer #16296 - VA
69.12.67.123:16567
GameServer #16826 - VA
69.12.71.217:16567
GameServer #17597 - VA
69.12.71.138:16567
The Battlegrounds - NY.US - NY
69.12.99.189:16567
GameServer #17912 - NY
69.12.99.133:16567
GameServer #16656 - NY
69.12.99.182:16567
ECGN (Only located in VA):
205.177.13.164:16567
205.177.13.166:16567
205.177.13.169:16567
The biggest things to take into consideration are playabliity (lack of lag, stuttering, etc) and secondly ping.
Please report back here with your findings, ping and general overview of your experience.
Thanks!

GameDaemons
53/54/54 10 hops
53/53/54 10 hops
skip same route
40/44/45 11 hops
41/44/41 11 hops
skip same route
ECGN
60/62/61 12 hops
67/61/62 12 hops
skip same route
hope that's helpful.

People, we need you to test out some of these servers. get on them and play. the number of hops and lowest pings are secondary to the way the server actually plays for you. afterall, this is what many of you contributed to. we're trying to find the best server that is good for the NinjaServe community as a whole.
if you guys don't give us feedback, selecting a server is that much harder for us.

I played on the ECGN servers, and though my ping was a bit high, I had very little lag, do you want to know which one is better between the 3 servers? I can find out tonight.

Stryker and I jumped on a server from both providers the game daemon server was unpopulated so it was hard to tell exactly how it played, the ecgn server seemed to play fairly well, there was around 20-25 people on at the time we played and I had a few lag spikes here and there but nothing unusual for me with the internet that I have.

I tried some servers again today but still some are either empty or low pop. I would just choose which provider has the better hardware, so we don't have hiccups or slow down.
